One thing to know about me is that I love when I get to be creative! While we were renovating my home photography studio in Senoia, my mind was absolutely running wild with different ideas of what I could create in there. I will always love outdoor sessions, but there is truly something fun about getting to dream up different studio sets that I can use for an adorable mini session.
So a while back, I saw a TikTok where someone had torn pages from a book and put them all over her wall as a backdrop. It was so cute! So I decided to create something similar.
I headed to Home Depot and bought a wooden lattice panel. I brought it home and hung it up on the studio wall. Then (because I’m always a little extra) I made some tea and painted the tea onto the outside of the book to make the pages look old and weathered. Because….character!
I then attached books to it with a staple gun. This took…..a long time. I didn’t realize how many books I would need. Good lord, so many books. I think it was around 90 maybe? After the books were attached to the lattice, I randomly put florals in between some of the books. There was so rhyme or reason to it.
I’m so happy how my little book wall turned out and it made the cutest mini session! I’d love to offer it again one weekend this year. Maybe sometime in the spring? Or National Book Month in October! I just googled and turns out, that’s a thing.
Anyway, I’m proud of my creation and I think it makes the perfect backdrop for a book themed mini session!
If you’d like to have a book wall session, let me know!!! I’d love an excuse to put it up again!
