Hi there and hello! I'm Ashley and I live in Senoia, GA with my husband Mike and our two children, Nicholas and Nora. I'm a child and family photographer who loves baking, reading and attempting DIY home improvement projects that end in failure a solid 83% of the time.
I truly love photography and over the years I've learned that photographing children is where my heart is. With children, there's no worrying about what angles look best or what their hair looks like. They're just carefree and happy and that's what I love to capture.
My son has autism and I can't tell you how stressful it was when he was younger and we'd have family portraits taken. He was not the type of kid that could sit still, look at the camera and smile on command. He'd get overwhelmed and start having a meltdown, and I could always tell the photographer was thinking, "kill me, kill me now."
It's my goal to never make a parent feel like this. If your child has a meltdown, that's fine. We can take a break. If your child has no interest in looking at the camera, we'll focus on candid shots. Those tend to be my favorite anyway. I've had shoots where I literally rolled around on the ground and pretended to be a puppy because it made the child laugh. I will do everything in my power to make your child feel at ease so you can relax and not worry about a thing!
I mean how bad would it look if I didn't put my kids on here? That's really the only reason they made the cut. Just trying to avoid the judgement of strangers! I kid, I kid.
I love my little ones more than anything in the whole world. Nicholas is so, so smart and has the kindest heart. Nora makes me laugh every single day and is the biggest cuddle bug.
Do they test my patience every single day? Obviously. Some days I'm just counting down the minutes until I can put them to bed. Then once they're asleep, I'm looking at pictures of them on my phone and thinking about how cute they are.
I've been told I was born in the wrong generation my entire life. My taste in movies, music and cars is that of a 75-year-old man. But like....a cool 75-year-old man.
Growing up, my dad and I went to concerts together all the time. We saw Bob Dylan, Creedence, The Beach Boys, Kris Kristofferson and more. They're some of my most cherished memories.
My dad passed away a few years ago and I got his extensive record collection. Going through the hundreds of records he had made me cry, and then smile, and then cry some more.
I made a "record room" in my house and it's my favorite spot to be. I know my dad would be so happy knowing that I'm keeping his memory alive by making sure my kids appreciate good music.

Oh my little Louie. The Lou Dog. This little chunk of love came into our lives about 3 years ago. He's a feisty little guy that completes our family and makes me smile whenever I see him. Except when he's barking and going insane. Which only happens when someone dares to walk by our house, or drive past our house. Or if someone's delivering a package. Or if you know, there's a strong breeze. He's a beagle, it's par for the course.
When he's not alerting us to imminent danger, he can be found sleeping on patio furniture or sprawled out in the middle of the living room. He's a precious angel and I love him so much it hurts.
